Lisbon's historic yellow tram

Lisbon is a vibrant, dynamic city which offers something for everyone; traditional architecture, modern developments, quiet parks, a crazy nightlife and a cuisine derived from its coastal location and multi-cultural roots. Each neighbourhood is unique and as a first time visitor I was grateful to our Lisbon tour guide who took us from the main squares to the back streets to areas I never would have discovered on my own in such a short period. It’s an easy city to get lost in which of course is part of the fun but sometimes it’s nice to know where you’re going!

I have so much to say about the city and I plan to go back next year to spend more time there, maybe even for a few months. For now, here are some of my favourite Instagram photos from my quick 3 day trip. Thanks to Housetrip for putting me up in their lovely and very cheap Lisbon apartment in the Marques de Pombal area of Lisbon.
