A science-based sustainability resource, translating Master of Environment knowledge into practical climate action guides for everyday people.
A European road trip blog documenting two decades of life across Central Europe and the Balkans, from Paris beginnings to Albanian backroads and digital nomad life, all from a Gen X perspective on independent travel.

With energy bills soaring, every household is looking for ways to cut costs without sacrificing comfort, and the good news is that saving money also helps tackle climate change.
Every day, you're bombarded with claims about eco-friendly products and sustainable companies, but how many of these green promises are actually genuine?
Small changes in what you buy can make a big difference to the planet – and it's easier than you think to get started.
Currently building a suite of climate action tools while documenting the journey through newsletter writing and social media. Learning Python programming to develop sustainability-focused applications. Taking a "build in public" approach to share the challenges and discoveries of transitioning from environmental advocate to climate tech entrepreneur, while maintaining focus on sustainable living content and community building.
Relocated to Melbourne to pursue a Master of Environment, specialising in sustainable food systems. Intensive studies combining social science and systems thinking, with a focus on sustainable food production, co-benefits of climate action, and how politics and corporate influence shape environmental outcomes. Culminated in a thesis examining greenwashing practices in Australian supermarkets. Graduated in 2024 with First Class Honours, successfully bridging my communication background with rigorous academic training in environmental social science and sustainability solutions.
Tested the waters of returning to university after two decades with a Graduate Certificate during lockdown. The course rekindled my love for academic learning and confirmed my desire to formalise my environmental knowledge. This foundational program provided the confidence and prerequisites needed to pursue more advanced environmental studies, marking the beginning of my transition from self-taught sustainability advocate to formally trained environmental professional.
When travel ended overnight in 2020, I pivoted from disillusioned travel blogger to climate action advocate. Launched Sustainability Cubed as both personal refuge and practical resource, channelling growing concerns about climate change into evidence-based content. Became active in Australian climate politics, including joining the Greens to support the 2019 federal election campaign, while building an online platform for sustainable living guidance. The project marked my intentional transition from documenting places to documenting solutions.
Left Paris in 2012 to become a full-time digital nomad and travel blogger, making a living from the road while exploring Europe in my iconic sky blue Fiat 500. Spent eight years driving from Western Europe through Central Europe and deep into the Balkans, with extended periods in Albania and Budapest, where I eventually bought an apartment. The nomadic lifestyle funded through blogging and side projects ended when I returned to Australia just before the pandemic hit.
Documenting life as an Australian migrant in Paris through old-school personal blogging that read like a public diary. What started as honest reflections on the challenges and joys of Parisian life evolved into travel content as I explored Europe. This authentic approach to sharing experiences helped build a genuine community - I made lasting friendships across Europe through the blog. Eventually rebranded to Rearview Mirror as content shifted toward European road trips.
An early foray into environmental writing, creating Australia's first dedicated green living blog from my new home in Montpellier, France. Without yet having secured residency status, I channelled my environmental passion into reviewing eco-friendly products and promoting sustainable living to an Australian audience. The commercial site filled a gap in online green content during the early days of environmental blogging, laying the foundation for my sustainability communication while I navigated life as a new resident in the South of France.
